| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3086 by replacing |
| 3 | | line 19 on page 8 through line 3 on page 9 with the following: |
| 4 | | "(9.5) Pooled investment trusts that are registered as |
| 5 | | an open-end investment company with the Securities and |
| 6 | | Exchange Commission and with voting trustees that are |
| 7 | | officers or employees of a national labor federation, or |
| 8 | | any member unions thereof, with assets exceeding |
| 9 | | $1,000,000,000 if: (i) the purchases do not exceed 5% of |
| 10 | | the issuers' total assets; (ii) no more than 1% of the |
| 11 | | public agency's funds are invested in the pooled |
| 12 | | investment trust; and (iii) the issuer has not been placed |
| 13 | | on the list of restricted companies by the Illinois |
| 14 | | Investment Policy Board under Section 1-110.16 of the |
| 15 | | Illinois Pension Code.". |
