| 1 | | AN ACT concerning appropriations.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The sum of $10,000,000, or so much of that |
| 5 | | amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General |
| 6 | | Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for the |
| 7 | | Housing is Recovery Program to support rental assistance for |
| 8 | | individuals with mental health and substance use challenges |
| 9 | | who are experiencing homelessness.

| 10 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 11 | | 2026. |
