| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3265 on page 14, |
| 3 | | line 10, by deleting "and under the general supervision of a |
| 4 | | dentist"; and

| 5 | | on page 14, immediately below line 11, by inserting the |
| 6 | | following: |
| 7 | | "(1) ensures that local anesthetics are not |
| 8 | | administered to a patient unless a dentist has first |
| 9 | | assessed the patient and made a record in the patient's |
| 10 | | chart that local anesthetics are necessary for the |
| 11 | | patient's treatment;"; and
|
| 12 | | on page 14, line 12, by replacing "(1)" with "(2)"; and
|
| 13 | | on page 14, line 15, by replacing "(2)" with "(3)". |
