| | | Amends the Board of Higher Education Act. Provides that the Board of Higher Education shall compile and make available to the public a report that contains the following information for all institutions of higher learning: (1) the number of credit hours taught by full-time faculty, organized by institution, tenure status, degree, and certificate program; and (2) the number of credit hours taught by part-time faculty, organized by institution, degree, and certificate program. |

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Board of Higher Education Act is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 9.47 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (110 ILCS 205/9.47 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 9.47. Credit hour report. By January 1, 2027 and |
| 8 | | every January 1 thereafter, the Board shall compile and make |
| 9 | | available to the public a report that contains the following |
| 10 | | information for all institutions of higher learning, as |
| 11 | | defined in Section 10 of the P-20 Longitudinal Education Data |
| 12 | | System Act: |
| 13 | | (1) the number of credit hours taught by full-time |
| 14 | | faculty, organized by institution, tenure status, degree, |
| 15 | | and certificate program; and |
| 16 | | (2) the number of credit hours taught by part-time |
| 17 | | faculty, organized by institution, degree, and certificate |
| 18 | | program. |
