    Appropriates $780,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Cook County Forest Preserve District for the administration and operation of Greencorps Chicago and the Forest Preserve Experience Program. Effective July 1, 2026.

1    AN ACT concerning appropriations.
  
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The sum of $780,000, or so much of that sum as 
5may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 
6Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity 
7for a grant to the Cook County Forest Preserve District for the 
8administration and operation of Greencorps Chicago and the 
9Forest Preserve Experience Program.
 
10    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 
112026.
