AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3518

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3518, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment 
4No. 2, on page 7, immediately below line 17, by inserting the 
5following:
6    ""State agency" has the meaning given to that term in 
7Section 1-15.100 of the Illinois Procurement Code."; and
 
8on page 15, line 8, after "Code", by inserting "and include the 
9species of hardwood and country of origin"; and
 
10on page 18, line 13, after "officer", by inserting "appointed 
11pursuant to Section 10-20 of the Illinois Procurement Code"; 
12and
 
13on page 19, by replacing lines 17 through 23 with the 
14following:
15    "(c) Each State agency shall report violations of this Act

1to the chief procurement officers appointed pursuant to 
2Section 10-20 of the Illinois Procurement Code. The chief 
3procurement officers may suspend the contractor or 
4subcontractor from having a contract for supplies and services 
5subject to this Act. Suspension shall be for cause and may be 
6for a period of up to 10 years at the discretion of the 
7applicable chief procurement officer. Contractors or 
8subcontractors may be debarred in accordance with rules 
9promulgated by the chief procurement officer or as otherwise 
10provided by law.
11    Any contract subject to this Act that was procured under 
12the Illinois Procurement Code shall be subject to Section 
1350-60 of the Illinois Procurement Code.".
