| | | Amends the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act. Provides that for all funds in the State treasury established to provide funding for the administration and operation of the Illinois Emergency Management Agency's responsibilities, interest earned by the investment or deposit of moneys accumulated in the funds shall be deposited into the respective fund. Effective immediately. |

| 1 | | AN ACT concerning State government.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 17.3 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (20 ILCS 3305/17.3 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 17.3. Fund interest. For all funds in the State |
| 8 | | treasury established to provide funding for the administration |
| 9 | | and operation of the Agency's responsibilities under this Act, |
| 10 | | interest earned by the investment or deposit of moneys |
| 11 | | accumulated in the funds shall be deposited into the |
| 12 | | respective fund.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 | | becoming law. |
