AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3766 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3766 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4    "Section 5. The Assisted Living and Shared Housing Act is 
5amended by adding Section 74 as follows:
 
6    (210 ILCS 9/74 new)
7    Sec. 74. Certified nursing assistant training.
8    (a) The Department shall allow the supervised clinical 
9portion of an approved certified nursing assistant training 
10program to be completed either:
11        (1) on site at an assisted living establishment or 
12    supportive living establishment that demonstrates the 
13    ability to meet Department clinical training and resident 
14    acuity requirements; or
15        (2) at a licensed skilled nursing or intermediate care 
16    facility through an affiliation agreement approved by the

1    Department.
2    (b) The Department shall allow an individual to satisfy 
3the supervised clinical experience requirement for placement 
4on the Health Care Worker Registry through supervised clinical 
5training completed at an assisted living establishment, a 
6supportive living facility, or an affiliated site approved by 
7the Department.
8    (c) The Department shall adopt rules requiring that the 
9Health Care Worker Registry include information identifying 
10where an individual received clinical training and shall amend 
11any applicable rules as necessary to implement this Section.".
