| 1 | | be passed through to new large load addition customers under |
| 2 | | terms that are comparable to the terms under which PJM |
| 3 | | assigned the obligation to the load-serving entity. |
| 4 | | (c) Each large load addition customer that triggers a PJM |
| 5 | | backstop procurement shall, as a condition of using service |
| 6 | | provided by a public utility, provide appropriate financial |
| 7 | | security to ensure that the public utility's existing |
| 8 | | customers are held harmless for the entire contract term and |
| 9 | | for the value of any backstop procurement obligation imposed |
| 10 | | by PJM. |
| 11 | | (d) Any new large load addition customer that applies to a |
| 12 | | public utility for service shall submit information to PJM |
| 13 | | that includes, but is not limited to, the following: |
| 14 | | (1) the large load addition's expected load usage; |
| 15 | | (2) the large load addition's expected peak load; |
| 16 | | (3) the large load addition's capacity utilization; |
| 17 | | (4) whether the large load addition is dependent on |
| 18 | | another proposed project moving forward; and |
| 19 | | (5) any other information requested by PJM. |
| 20 | | (e) Nothing in this Section is intended: (1) to prevent or |
| 21 | | hinder any action by a load-serving entity that is necessary |
| 22 | | to maintain the load-serving entity's system reliability; or |
| 23 | | (2) to prevent the load-serving entity from adopting |
| 24 | | appropriate voluntary load curtailment programs.". |
