| 2 | | WHEREAS, The State Board of Education has filed its Report |
| 3 | | on Waivers of School Code Mandates, dated February 20, 2026, |
| 4 | | with the Senate and the House of Representatives as required |
| 5 | | by Section 2-3.25g of the School Code; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, As per 105 ILCS 5/2-3.25g subsection (d), the |
| 7 | | waivers were presented to the General Assembly panel |
| 8 | | consisting of the President of the Senate, the Minority Leader |
| 9 | | of the Senate, Speaker of the House of Representatives, the |
| 10 | | Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, and responses |
| 11 | | requesting further consideration or no further consideration |
| 12 | | were returned to the State Board of Education on or before |
| 13 | | March 5, 2026; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, On March 6, 2026, the State Board of Education |
| 15 | | submitted the Non-Resident Tuition waiver request from Malden |
| 16 | | Community Consolidated School District 84 (W-100-7498) to the |
| 17 | | General Assembly for further consideration; therefore, be it
|
| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL |
| 19 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF |
| 20 | | REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING HEREIN, that the request made by |
| 21 | | Malden Community Consolidated School District 84 with respect |
| 22 | | to Non-Resident Tuition, identified in the report filed by the |
