SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Helen Marie Dulle of Springfield, who 
4passed away on June 12, 2025; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Helen Dulle was born in Shipman to Joseph Thomas 
6and Luella Schaefer Johnson on April 25, 1941; she studied as 
7an undergraduate and received her master's degree from 
8Southern Illinois University Carbondale; she married Herbert 
9J. Dulle on June 9, 1971; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Helen Dulle retired from Sacred Heart-Griffin 
11High School, where she served as volleyball coach for 33 
12years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Helen Dulle was a member of the Illinois High 
14School Association Hall of Fame, at one time the winningest 
15coach in Illinois; she was also a member of the Springfield 
16Sports Hall of Fame, the Bunker Hill Wall of Honor, and the 
17Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Helen Dulle was preceded in death by her husband, 
19Herbert; her parents; and her brother, Joe Johnson; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Helen Dulle is survived by her brothers, Charles

1(Norma June), Richard, and Kenneth (Margaret) Johnson, and 
2numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Helen Marie Dulle and extend our sincere condolences to her 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Helen Dulle as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
