| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to |
| 3 | | congratulate the Leo High School choir, the Lions, on being |
| 4 | | selected to compete on Season 20 of America's Got Talent; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Leo High School is an all-boys Catholic school |
| 6 | | located on Chicago's South Side; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, The Lions, over the course of Season 20, |
| 8 | | performed covers of such hits as "Centuries" by Fall Out Boy |
| 9 | | and "Believer" by Imagine Dragons, among others; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, The Lions earned a spot to compete against nine |
| 11 | | other acts on the America's Got Talent season finale on |
| 12 | | September 24, 2025, performing "Hall of Fame" by The Script |
| 13 | | and attaining fourth place; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, The Lions are led by music/choir director LaDonna |
| 15 | | Hill; therefore, be it
|
| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL |
| 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the |
| 18 | | Leo High School choir, the Lions, on their achievement of |
| 19 | | competing on Season 20 of America's Got Talent; and be it |
