| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Beverley Gumbs-Crawley of Wheeling, |
| 4 | | who passed away on December 23, 2025; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Beverley Gumbs-Crawley was born on May 21, 1964; |
| 6 | | she graduated from the University of the Virgin Islands with a |
| 7 | | Bachelor of Arts in English in 1990; and |
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Beverley Gumbs-Crawley most recently worked as an |
| 9 | | account manager, serving the health, wellness, and fitness |
| 10 | | industry; she had also served with a variety of businesses in |
| 11 | | client services, as a customer services consultant and media |
| 12 | | analyst, and as a public relations manager; and |
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Beverley Gumbs-Crawley was the beloved wife of 34 |
| 14 | | years of Michael Crawley; the loving mother of Asher (Dylan) |
| 15 | | Saks-Crawley and Aidra "Haven" Crawley (Josh Graff); the fond |
| 16 | | sister of Clifford (Charlene), LeRoy (Beverly), Hillary |
| 17 | | (Rawle), Hermoine (Melford), Randoline, Leona (Edmond), Mavis |
| 18 | | (Everton "Percil"), Sonia (Arnold), Merclyn "Dolly", and |
| 19 | | Yvette; and aunt, cousin, and friend of many; therefore, be it |
