SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to congratulate Kade Hill, a member of the Livingston County Farm Bureau, on earning third place in the American Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmers and Ranchers Discussion Meet competition at the 2026 American Farm Bureau Federation Annual Convention; and

WHEREAS, Kade Hill, prior to competing at the national level, earned first place in the Illinois Farm Bureau Young Leader Discussion Meet in December 2025, a competitive program that promotes the development of agricultural leaders by evaluating participants on their ability to analyze agricultural issues, engage in discussion, and communicate effectively; and

WHEREAS, Kade Hill represented Illinois in the national competition held in Anaheim, California in January 2026, where through preparation, knowledge, and effective communication, he distinguished himself among competitors from across the nation; and

WHEREAS, Kade Hill's achievement reflects positively on himself, the Livingston County Farm Bureau, and the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Kade Hill on earning third place in the American Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmers and Ranchers Discussion Meet competition at the 2026 American Farm Bureau Federation Annual Convention; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Kade Hill as an expression of our esteem and respect.
