| 3 | | lifeline for families, communities, and the economy; and

| 4 | | WHEREAS, The child care system supports children's growth, |
| 5 | | development, and educational advancement while creating |
| 6 | | positive economic impacts for families and communities; and

| 7 | | WHEREAS, Child care providers are essential to the health |
| 8 | | of our communities by fostering safe and welcoming spaces, |
| 9 | | supporting working families, and creating enriching |
| 10 | | environments where children develop lifelong skills; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Support for affordable, accessible, and |
| 12 | | high-quality child care represents a worthy commitment to help |
| 13 | | families work, to support children's healthy development and |
| 14 | | learning, and to keep our economy growing; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Child Care AwareŽ of America and organizations |
| 16 | | nationwide plan to recognize child care providers this year on |
| 17 | | May 8, 2026; therefore, be it

| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL |
