SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to 
3congratulate Dr. Jon Bartelt on the occasion of his retirement 
4as Superintendent of Schools for Bloomingdale School District 
513; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Dr. Bartelt has dedicated 14 years to serving as 
7Superintendent of Schools to the children of Bloomingdale 
8School District 13, leading with distinction from July 1, 2012 
9to June 30, 2026; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Dr. Bartelt's unwavering commitment to students 
11has fostered academic excellence, innovative programs, and a 
12nurturing environment that empowers every child to thrive; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Dr. Bartelt has supported and inspired staff 
14through visionary leadership, professional growth 
15opportunities, and a culture of collaboration and respect; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Dr. Bartelt's deep partnership with the 
17Bloomingdale community has strengthened ties between schools 
18and families, promoting events, resources, and shared goals 
19for a brighter future; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Dr. Bartelt's retirement marks the end of an era

1of transformative service, leaving an enduring legacy of 
2integrity, passion, and positive impact; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Dr. 
5Jon Bartelt on his retirement as Superintendent of Schools for 
6Bloomingdale School District 13, express our deep appreciation 
7for his extraordinary contributions to education and the 
8Bloomingdale community, and wish him well in retirement; and 
9be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to Dr. Bartelt as an expression of our esteem and 
12respect.
