SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Frances Orona; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Frances Orona was born in Greeley, Colorado to 
5Mary and Ralph Vega, one of eight children, and grew up on the 
6south side of Chicago; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Frances Orona lived a wonderful life full of 
8cherished time spent with good friends and loved ones; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Frances Orona will be especially remembered for 
10her kindness and generosity, and she never denied a helping 
11hand to those in need; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Frances Orona is survived by her daughters, 
13Christina (Lorrin) Moore and Dione (Lavon) Harold; her 
14grandchildren, Hailey, Sabrina, Maya (Kamau), Janea, and 
15Jamal; and her great-granddaughter, Kennedy Frances; 
16therefore, be it
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Frances Orona and extend our sincere condolences to her 
20family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
