| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Clarence R. "C.R." Wirth of Worth, who |
| 4 | | passed away on May 28, 2026 at the age of 96; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Clarence Wirth was born in Illinois to George and |
| 6 | | Evelyn Wirth on January 18, 1930; and |
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Clarence Wirth proudly served his country with |
| 8 | | the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War; and |
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Clarence Wirth was a skilled and hardworking home |
| 10 | | builder and designed and constructed his family home in Worth |
| 11 | | in 1961, where he lived for more than six decades; and |
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Clarence Wirth was a man of remarkable talent and |
| 13 | | discipline, earning a black belt in judo, becoming an expert |
| 14 | | marksman, and excelling as a boxer, yet he remained humble and |
| 15 | | never sought the spotlight; and |
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Clarence Wirth was a faithful member of All |
| 17 | | Saints Lutheran Church and a blessing to everyone who knew |
| 18 | | him; he was a modest, kind, and steadfast man whose quiet |
| 19 | | strength, patriotism, and deep love for family touched |
| 20 | | countless lives; and |
