Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act. Sets forth procedures to determine the source income of a nonresident individual who is a member of a professional athletic team. Effective immediately.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1

	Deletes reference to:
	35 ILCS 5/302

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts provisions of the bill as introduced with the following changes: Moves the provisions concerning compensation paid to nonresident professional athletes to a Section concerning business income of persons other than residents. Deletes a provision concerning alternative methods of apportioning compensation paid to nonresident athletes.

	Fiscal Note (Department of Revenue)
	Senate Bill 2704, as amended by Senate Amendment 1, is estimated to increase State revenue by approximately $250,000.
