Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Pension Code. Provides that if a participant under the Judges Retirement System of Illinois makes an election by July 1, 2005, that person (i) may serve either as legal counsel in the Office of the Governor or as Chief Deputy Attorney General without forfeiting any rights under the Judges Retirement System and (ii) is not a participant in any other pension fund or retirement system with respect to that service. Effective immediately.
