 1        AN ACT concerning display of the American flag.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  1.  Short  title.  This  Act may be cited as the
 5    Freedom to Be a Patriot Act.

 6        Section 5.  Display at State buildings.  Display  of  the
 7    flag  of  the  United  States  may  not  be prohibited at any
 8    building owned, leased, or otherwise controlled by the  State
 9    of Illinois.
