 1        AN ACT concerning veterans.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Veterans Preference  Act  is  amended  by
 5    changing Section 2 as follows:

 6        (330 ILCS 55/2) (from Ch. 126 1/2, par. 24)
 7        Sec. 2. Every contract for this such work shall contain a
 8    term providing for the preference given in Section 1.
