 1        AN ACT concerning seeds.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The Illinois Seed Law is amended by changing
 5    Section 4.2a as follows:

 6        (505 ILCS 110/4.2a) (from Ch. 5, par. 404.2a)
 7        Sec. 4.2a.  Agricultural seeds that are coated must shall
 8    be labeled with:
 9        (1)  Percentage  of  pure  seeds  with  coating  material
10    removed.
11        (2)  Percentage of coating material shall be shown  as  a
12    separate  item  in  close  association with the percentage of
13    inert matter.
14        (3)  In addition  to  the  provisions  of  this  Section,
15    labeling of coated seed shall comply with the requirements of
16    Section 4.2.
