 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2297

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2297  by  replacing
 3    line  22  on  page  4  through  line  12  on  page 5 with the
 4    following:

 5        "The State Board of Education shall require  each  school
 6    district  to  have  an  air  quality  policy.  The policy may
 7    include the following:
 8             (1)  a  statement   indicating   that   the   school
 9        administration is concerned about air quality and health,
10        safety, and comfort for staff and students;
11             (2)  authorization   for   an   indoor  air  quality
12        coordinator for each school or district;
13             (3)  guidance on appropriate steps  for  maintaining
14        good air quality;
15             (4)  guidance  on appropriate actions for correcting
16        indoor air quality problems; and
17             (5)  reporting requirements.".
