 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2996  by  replacing
 3    everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 4        "(215 ILCS 106/97 rep.)
 5        Section  5.  The  Children's Health Insurance Program Act
 6    is amended by repealing Section 97.

 7        Section 99. Effective date. This Act  takes  effect  upon
 8    becoming law.".
