 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  amount  of $500,000, or so much of that
 5    amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the  General
 6    Revenue  Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant
 7    to the Illinois Assistive Technology Project.

 8        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act  takes  effect  on
 9    July 1, 2003.
