AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3954

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3954 by replacing

everything after the enacting clause with the following:

    "Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended  by 
5
adding Sections 7-103.113 and 7-103.114 as follows:

    (735 ILCS 5/7-103.113  new)
7
    Sec. 7-103.113. Quick-take; Village of Plainfield.  
8
Quick-take proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for the  
9
period of 12 months after the effective date of this amendatory  
10
Act of the 93rd General Assembly by the Village of Plainfield 
11
for the acquisition of property for the purposes of water, 
12
sewer, and roadway extensions:
13
        That part of Outlot "A" in Indian Oaks Estates Unit 
14
Six, a subdivision of part of the Southeast Quarter of 
15
Section 17 in Township 36 North and Range 9 East of the 
16
Third Principal Meridian, in Will County, Illinois, 
17
according to the plat thereof recorded April 6, 1989 as 
18
Document Number R89-15582, described as follows:

        Beginning at the southeasterly corner of Outlot A, 
20
thence South 45 degrees 31 minutes 50 seconds West along 
21
the south line of the aforesaid Outlot 147.49 feet to the 
22
southwesterly corner of the aforesaid Outlot; thence North 
23
0 degrees 0 minutes 26 seconds East along the west line of 
24
the aforesaid Outlot 221.82 feet; thence on a northwesterly
