AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3962

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3962 on page 3, line 
3
13, after "Assembly," by inserting "other than persons who 
4
enter service under the terms of a collective bargaining 
5
agreement,"; and
 
6
on page 6, line 36, by replacing "If" with "Except in the case 
7
of a teacher who enters service under the terms of a collective 
8
bargaining agreement, if"; and
 
9
on page 8, by replacing lines 7 through 11 with the following:
10
    "The provisions of this subsection (b-4) apply only to 
11
salaries paid to teachers under contracts, other than 
12
collective bargaining agreements, entered into, amended, or 
13
renewed on or after the effective date of this amendatory Act 
14
of the 93rd General Assembly.".
