AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4241

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4241, AS AMENDED,

with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. 
4
5, on page 5, by replacing lines 8 through 10 with the 
5
following:

"contractor may require employees to submit to a background 
7
check."; and

on page 7, immediately below line 12, by inserting the 
9
following:

    "(5) To banks, savings banks, savings and loan 
11
associations, trust companies or credit unions licensed or 
12
organized under the laws of any state or of the United States, 
13
or any foreign banks maintaining a branch or agency licensed or 
14
organized under the laws of any state or of the United States, 
15
or any licensee under the Consumer Installment Loan Act or 
16
Sales Finance Agency Act, or any subsidiary or affiliate 
17
thereof shall be exempted under the following circumstances: 
18
(i) for buildings in which the above listed own and occupy 50% 
19
or more of the rentable square footage, (ii) for buildings in 
20
which the above listed own and occupy less than 50% of the 
21
rentable square footage, it shall be exempted for the area of 
22
the building it occupies, or (iii) for buildings in which the 
23
above listed lease, in whole or in part, it shall be exempted
