| 1 | AN ACT concerning cemeteries.

| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by adding | ||||||
| 5 | Section 11-49-5 as follows: | ||||||
| 6 | (65 ILCS 5/11-49-5 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 11-49-5. Scattering garden. The corporate authorities | ||||||
| 8 | of any municipality may establish a scattering garden in any | ||||||
| 9 | municipal cemetery for the purpose of scattering cremated | ||||||
| 10 | remains.
