| AN ACT concerning State commemorative dates.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| adding Section 31 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (5 ILCS 490/31 new)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 31. Great Grandparents Day. The first Sunday after |
| 8 |
| Labor Day of each year is designated as Great Grandparents Day |
| 9 |
| to encourage the citizens of Illinois to honor and celebrate |
| 10 |
| great grandparents throughout the State.
