| AN ACT concerning transportation.
|
| 2 |
| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Illinois Aeronautics Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 11 as
follows:
|
| 6 |
| (620 ILCS 5/11) (from Ch. 15 1/2, par. 22.11)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 11. "Operation of aircraft" or "operate aircraft" |
| 8 |
| means the use of
aircraft for the purpose of air navigation, |
| 9 |
| and includes the navigation or
piloting of aircraft. Any person |
| 10 |
| who causes or authorizes the operation of
aircraft, whether |
| 11 |
| with or without the right of legal control (in the
capacity of |
| 12 |
| owner, lessee, or otherwise) of the aircraft, is
shall be
|
| 13 |
| deemed
to be engaged in the operation of aircraft within the |
| 14 |
| meaning of the
statutes of this State.
