    AN ACT relating to higher education.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Board of Higher Education Act is amended by 
5
changing
Section 5 as follows:

    (110 ILCS 205/5)  (from Ch. 144, par. 185)

    Sec. 5. Reimbursement for expenses.  The members of the 
8
Board shall serve
without compensation but they
shall be 
9
reimbursed for their actual and necessary traveling and other

10
expenses while engaged in the performance of their duties.
