    AN ACT with respect to higher education.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Eastern Illinois University Law is amended 
5
by changing
Section 10-10 as follows:

    (110 ILCS 665/10-10)

    Sec. 10-10. Creation of Board.  There is hereby created a 
8
body politic
and
corporate which shall be styled the Board of 
9
Trustees of Eastern Illinois
University (hereinafter called 
10
the Board), and which shall operate,
manage, control, and 
11
maintain Eastern Illinois University in accordance
with the 
12
rights, powers and duties now or hereafter vested by law in 
13
that
Board.
