| AN ACT concerning labor.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Department of Labor Law of the
Civil |

| Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by changing Section |
| 6 |
| 1505-20 as
follows:
|

| (a) The Department has the power to acquire and diffuse

concerning the means of |

| promoting the material, social, intellectual, and
moral |

| prosperity of laboring men and women.

| (b) The Department shall monitor the employment progress of |
| 15 |
| women and
minorities in the work force, including access to the |

| public sector,
the private sector, labor unions, and collective |

| bargaining units and
