| AN ACT regarding boats.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Boat Registration and Safety Act is amended |
| 5 |
| by changing
Section 1-1 as follows:
|

| Sec. 1-1. Title
and declaration of intent.
This Act shall |
| 8 |
| be known and may be cited as the "Boat Registration and
Safety |
| 9 |
| Act." It is the policy of this State to promote safety for |
| 10 |
| persons
and property in and connected with the use, operation |
| 11 |
| and equipment of
vessels and to promote uniformity of laws |
| 12 |
| relating thereto.
