1     AN ACT concerning consumer protection.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business
5 Practices Act is amended by changing Section 11 as follows:
 
6     (815 ILCS 505/11)  (from Ch. 121 1/2, par. 271)
7     Sec. 11. Severability. If any provision of this Act or the
8 application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
9 invalid, the invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
10 applications of the Act which can be given effect without the
11 invalid provision or application and to this end the provisions
12 of this Act are severable.
