| AN ACT in relation to financial regulation.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Savings Bank Act is amended by changing
|
| 5 |
| Section 2002 as follows:
|

| (205 ILCS 205/2002) (from Ch. 17, par. 7302-2)

| Sec. 2002. Registration. A
Each savings bank holding |
| 8 |
| company and
each subsidiary
thereof shall register with the |
| 9 |
| Commissioner within 180 days after
the effective date of this |
| 10 |
| Act or within 90 days after becoming a
savings bank holding |
| 11 |
| company, whichever is later. Each savings
bank holding company |
| 12 |
| and each subsidiary thereof shall register on
those forms as |
| 13 |
| may be prescribed by the Commissioner which shall
include |
| 14 |
| information with respect to the financial conditions,
|
| 15 |
| ownership, management, and intercompany relations of the |
| 16 |
| holding
company and its subsidiaries and related matters as the
|
| 17 |
| Commissioner may deem necessary or appropriate to carry out the
|
| 18 |
| purposes of this Act.
