Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that the Department of Human Services shall create a database where child care providers receiving funds from the child care assistance program under the Illinois Public Aid Code may report that a person who receives assistance from the State has outstanding bills for child care and has switched to an alternative child care provider.

| AN ACT concerning child care.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by |
| 5 |
| adding Section 9A-11.10 as follows: |

| (305 ILCS 5/9A-11.10 new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 9A-11.10. Child care provider database. Subject to |
| 8 |
| appropriations, the Department of Human Services shall create a |
| 9 |
| database where child care providers receiving funds from the |
| 10 |
| child care assistance program under this Code may report that a |
| 11 |
| person who receives assistance from the State has outstanding |
| 12 |
| bills for child care and has switched to an alternative child |
| 13 |
| care provider.
