AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 7029

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 7029, AS AMENDED,

with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. 
4
1, on page 4, immediately below line 2, by inserting the 
5
following:

            "(vi) For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004, 
7
        $2,000,000 of the moneys deposited in the
Nursing 
8
        Dedicated
and Professional Fund shall be set aside and 
9
        appropriated to the
Department of Public Health each 
10
        year for creation of nursing training centers. For the 
11
        fiscal year beginning July 1, 2005 and for each fiscal 
12
        year thereafter, $2,000,000 of the moneys deposited in 
13
        the
Nursing Dedicated
and Professional Fund shall be 
14
        set aside and appropriated to the
Department of Public 
15
        Health each year for operation and development of the 
16
        nursing training centers created pursuant to this item 
17
        (vi).".
