| AN ACT concerning human services.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Department of Human Services Act is amended |
| 5 |
| by adding Section 10-50 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (20 ILCS 1305/10-50 new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 10-50. Report on funding targeted to impact teen birth |
| 8 |
| rates. No later than December 1, 2004, the Department must |
| 9 |
| submit a report to the General Assembly concerning funding |
| 10 |
| targeted to impact teen birth rates. The report must include, |
| 11 |
| without limitation, all of the following for FY2002, FY2003, |
| 12 |
| and FY2004: |
| 13 |
| (1) the total amount of moneys awarded for teen |
| 14 |
| pregnancy prevention during each of those years; |
| 15 |
| (2) the source of the moneys that were awarded for teen |
| 16 |
| pregnancy prevention; |
| 17 |
| (3) the process by which the moneys were awarded; |
| 18 |
| (4) copies of all vendor contracts concerning teen |
| 19 |
| pregnancy prevention; |
| 20 |
| (5) copies of all proposals received by the Department |
| 21 |
| concerning teen pregnancy prevention; and |
| 22 |
| (6) copies of all program reports to the Department |
| 23 |
| concerning teen pregnancy prevention.

| amended by adding Section 2310-441 as follows:
