| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and |
| 5 |
| Duties Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is |

| amended by adding Section 2310-610 as follows:
|

| (20 ILCS 2310/2310-610 new) |

| Sec. 2310-610. Sarcoidosis research grants. Subject to |
| 9 |
| appropriation, the Department of Public Health is authorized to |
| 10 |
| make grants to qualified Illinois entities for the research of |
| 11 |
| Sarcoidosis disease. The Department by rule shall establish |
| 12 |
| selection criteria, grant conditions, and grant monitoring |
| 13 |
| procedures.
