 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members of the House of  Representatives  of
 3    the  State  of Illinois wish to congratulate the Saint Viator
 4    Lions varsity soccer team of Arlington Heights on winning the
 5    IHSA Class A 2003 Boys Soccer Championship; and

 6        WHEREAS, The championship match was held at North Central
 7    College in Naperville; St. Viator defeated Carbondale 1 to 0,
 8    with the only goal being scored in the first  half  by  Steve
 9    Zaleski, assisted by Frank Callero; and

10        WHEREAS,  The Lions' record for the season was 19 wins, 2
11    losses, and 4 ties; the head  coach  of  the  Lions  is  Mike
12    Taylor;  the  assistant coaches are Mike Manno, Dave Poterek,
13    Robert Avendano, Dan Edminster,  Kevin  Hogendorp,  and  Jeff
14    Anderson;  the  managers  are  Rob Moroney and Dan Henry; the
15    athletic director at Saint Viator is  Lynn  Gaziano  and  the
16    Principal is Rev. Thomas R. von Behren, C.S.V.; and

17        WHEREAS,  The  members of the Saint Viator varsity soccer
18    team are Konrad Karasek,  Reid  Lappin,  Drew  Korab,  Jordan
19    Gyuricza, Zach Raderstorf, Danny Malandrino, Ray Krawzak, Tom
20    Schleiter, Mike Lamberta, Bennett Dilly, Brian Cavers, Robert
21    Muellers,  Derek  Moser,  Paul  Callero, Mike Cavers, Garrett
22    Luehrs, Mike Pohl,  Steve  Zaleski,  Frank  Callero,  Patrick
23    Daday, T.J. King, and Chris Pappas; therefore, be it

24        RESOLVED,   BY   THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES  OF  THE
25    NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS,  that
26    we  congratulate  the  members,  coaches, and managers of the
27    Saint Viator varsity soccer team on  winning  the  2003  IHSA
28    Class A Boys Soccer Championship; and be it further

29        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
30    presented to the members, coaches, and managers of the  Saint
31    Viator varsity soccer team as an expression of our esteem and
