| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The 822nd Military Police Company has been serving |
| 3 |
| Operation Enduring Freedom and currently in Operation Iraqi |
| 4 |
| Freedom in Iraq; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The unit is permanently stationed in the Village |
| 6 |
| of Arlington Heights; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Their commanding officer, First Lieutenant |
| 8 |
| Christopher Mulligan, wrote that "These solders are some of the |
| 9 |
| most proud professional Illinoisans that I have had the |
| 10 |
| pleasure of knowing."; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The members of this company serve our nation with |
| 12 |
| honor and pride and are owed an immense measure of gratitude; |
| 13 |
| therefore, be it
|
| 14 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 15 |
| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 16 |
| pay tribute to the courageous men and women from Illinois of |
| 17 |
| the 822nd Military Police Company; and be it further
|
| 18 |
| RESOLVED, That we salute the members of the 822nd Military |
| 19 |
| Police company for their devotion to Illinois and the nation; |
| 20 |
| and be it further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to the 822nd Military Police Company of the Army |
| 23 |
| Reserves as an expression of our pride and esteem.
