| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois are pleased to congratulate Chad Hays of |
| 4 |
| Catlin on being named the 2004 Catlin Citizen of the Year; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The award, given by the Catlin Lions Club, is |
| 6 |
| awarded to a member of the community who has gone above and |
| 7 |
| beyond to volunteer; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Hays was selected for the award because of his |
| 9 |
| many contributions to the betterment of the community, |
| 10 |
| including serving as former mayor and co-chairman for Phases 1 |
| 11 |
| and 2 of the Catlin Recreation Complex Committee; he also has |
| 12 |
| been involved with HALOs Painting Blitz to paint a home in |
| 13 |
| Catlin for donations to the Catlin Public Library building; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Hays will be honored at a banquet on May 20, |
| 15 |
| 2004; therefore, be it
|
| 16 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 17 |
| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 18 |
| congratulate Chad Hays on being named the 2004 Catlin Citizen |
| 19 |
| of the Year, and we thank him for his service to his community; |
| 20 |
| and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to Chad Hays as an expression of our respect and |
| 23 |
| esteem.
