| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives are |
| 3 |
| pleased to honor Sergeant Paul Hildebrandt as he returns home |
| 4 |
| from serving with his Illinois National Guard Unit in the war |
| 5 |
| in Iraq; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Sergeant Hildebrandt graduated from Illiopolis |
| 7 |
| High School in May of 1994; he enlisted in the Illinois |
| 8 |
| National Guard in September of 1993; he is a member of the |
| 9 |
| 233rd Military Police Company based at Camp Lincoln in |
| 10 |
| Springfield; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Sergeant Hildebrandt and his unit left for Fort |
| 12 |
| McCoy, Wisconsin, on February 10, 2003; they left for Iraq on |
| 13 |
| April 6, 2003, and arrived in Baghdad on April 20, 2003; they |
| 14 |
| returned to Fort McCoy on April 19, 2004; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Sergeant Hildebrandt is the son of Mike and Micki |
| 16 |
| Hildebrandt of Illiopolis; he returns home to his wife, Monica; |
| 17 |
| his son, Caleb; and his daughter, Julie, who was born after he |
| 18 |
| left; his brother, Staff Sergeant Keith Hildebrandt served with |
| 19 |
| him in Iraq and has returned home as well; therefore, be it
|
| 20 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 21 |
| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 22 |
| honor Sergeant Paul Hildebrandt for his service in the war in |
| 23 |
| Iraq; and be it further
|
| 24 |
| RESOLVED, That we thank him for his willingness to serve |
| 25 |
| our country in such a manner; and be it further
|
| 26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 27 |
| presented to Sergeant Paul Hildebrandt as an expression of our |
| 28 |
| gratitude and esteem.
