| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives wish to recognize Keith Donovan on the occasion |
| 4 |
| of his retirement from his position as park supervisor of the |
| 5 |
| Broadway Armory Park in Chicago; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Donovan began his career with the Chicago Park |
| 7 |
| District in 1970 as a Summer Recreation Leader at Chase Park; |
| 8 |
| and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, He served as a physical instructor at Merrimac |
| 10 |
| Park and Jenson Park; he then became park supervisor at |
| 11 |
| Kilbourn Park, Blackhawk Park, and Cragin Park before becoming |
| 12 |
| park supervisor of Broadway Armory Park in 1999;
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, A retirement celebration is planned for May 27, |
| 14 |
| 2004 in honor of his retirement; therefore, be it
|
| 15 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 16 |
| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 17 |
| congratulate Keith Donovan on his retirement after many years |
| 18 |
| of dedicated service; and we wish him well in all his future |
| 19 |
| endeavors; and be it further
|
| 20 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 21 |
| presented to Keith Donovan as a token of our respect and |
| 22 |
| esteem.
