| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois are pleased to congratulate James Buck as he |
| 4 |
| retires after 37 years of service with the Moline Fire |
| 5 |
| Department; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, James G. Buck began his career with the Moline |
| 7 |
| Fire Department on April 15, 1967; he became an EMT in 1973; in |
| 8 |
| 1976, he was promoted to engineer; he received certification of |
| 9 |
| Fire Fighter II in December of 1979 and of Fire Fighter III in |
| 10 |
| July of 1984; Mr. Buck was promoted to lieutenant on May 1, |
| 11 |
| 1994; he retired from the department on May 15, 2004; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Buck has always been active in his local |
| 13 |
| community, attended conventions as a delegate, and frequently |
| 14 |
| added a helping hand in his community; therefore, be it
|
| 15 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 16 |
| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 17 |
| congratulate James Buck as he retires after 37 years of service |
| 18 |
| with the Moline Fire Department, and we thank him for his |
| 19 |
| faithful service to his community; and be it further
|
| 20 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 21 |
| presented to James Buck as an expression of our sincere respect |
| 22 |
| and gratitude for his many years of service to his community.
