| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to recognize notable achievements |
| 4 |
| of citizens of this State; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The Frankfort Preservation Foundation Board of |
| 6 |
| Directors has established a "Lifetime Service" Award program in |
| 7 |
| order to recognize, honor, and preserve the memory of citizens |
| 8 |
| and historic landmarks that exemplify the highest standards of |
| 9 |
| stewardship within its community; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, At a ceremony on Friday, August 13, 2004, at CD & |
| 11 |
| Me, George Sangmeister is being honored with the Favourite Son |
| 12 |
| Lifetime Service award for his prominence in the Village of |
| 13 |
| Frankfort; he has served more than 30 years in public service, |
| 14 |
| he has held office in every branch of Government and was named |
| 15 |
| as one of the "Top Ten Legislators"; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, He is a member of many civic organizations and has |
| 17 |
| been awarded numerous distinctions; and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Sangmeister is a loving husband to his wife, |
| 19 |
| Doris; he has two children, Kurt and Kimberly; and has three |
| 20 |
| grandchildren, Jordan, Cole, and Keegan; therefore, be it
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 22 |
| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 23 |
| congratulate George Sangmeister on being honored with the |
| 24 |
| Favourite Son Lifetime Service award given by the Frankfort |
| 25 |
| Preservation Foundation Board of Directors; and be it further
|
| 26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 27 |
| presented to George Sangmeister as a token of our respect.
