| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, David Doty was born on March 5, 1945, and |
| 3 |
| graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1967; and
|
| 4 |
| WHEREAS, He and his wife, Dianne, have been married for 34 |
| 5 |
| years; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, They have three children, Erin, Jeff, and Mike, |
| 7 |
| and two grandchildren, Jordon and Jayce; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, David Doty served as the Lyons Republican Township |
| 9 |
| Republican Committeeman; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, He has lobbied the Illinois General Assembly for |
| 11 |
| thirty years; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, David Doty has served as Director of Government |
| 13 |
| Affairs and Vice President of Law and Government Affairs for |
| 14 |
| AT&T for twenty-seven years; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, David Doty has earned the respect of his |
| 16 |
| colleagues and members of the General Assembly for his |
| 17 |
| professional, honest, and bipartisan advocacy on issues |
| 18 |
| dealing with the telecommunications and steel industries; |
| 19 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 21 |
| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 22 |
| commend Dave Doty on his successful 30-year career working with |
| 23 |
| the Illinois General Assembly and we extend our best wishes to |
| 24 |
| Dave, his wife, Dianne, and the Doty family on his retirement |
| 25 |
| from AT&T; and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
